Do we choose the life we live? The career we follow? The way we are? While most people sometimes think about these questions I have always thought about these questions. I can remember as a child sitting on a bus with 20 empty seats and watching a man get on and somehow choose one of the empty ones. I remember marveling around the reasoning process that he must have undergone - why did he choose that particular seat as oppose to any other? I was always keenly aware of the emotions, feelings and thoughts of others. To the extent that since a very young age individuals sought me out in times of trouble or need. Somehow they sensed that I would be able to understand and not turn them away.
This fascination and curiosity about life has led me to study psychology and human behaviour for over 25 years and to determine to spend my life dedicated to researching how to help people live better, more fulfilled and happier lives. I trained clinically as a Counselling Psychologist so I could see clients and help them work through difficult issues and learn to live again.
