Resilience and Adaptability Training
In the modern world the pace of change has accelerated. The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and even improve, is a necessary characteristic for success and happiness. This course will examine the nature of resilience – the ability to successfully adapt to changing circumstances and continue to function well. But it will move beyond simplistic notions and examine whether we can develop a way of being that can actually grow under adverse or sub-optimal conditions – rather like the desert cactus thriving in an environment where other species die.
It will examine your habitual ways of responding to events and examine the factors associated with enhanced resilience. In short it will provide a road map and exercises that will develop your resilience to its optimal point. As a result of taking this course you will feel more equipped to deal with wherever life takes you. You will be able to accurately assess your resources and know when to fight, when to retreat and when to rest. It will significantly improve the quality of your relationships both at home and work and give you a realistic yet confident attitude that is hard to shake.
